Obita has completed its integration with institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure provided by HashKey Exchange, with relevant services delivered by HashKey Exchange within the scope of its licensed and permitted activities.

Hong Kong, September 15, 2026 — Global payment service provider Obita announced that Obita Mesh, its global open payment network, has integrated with HashKey Exchange’s institutional-grade digital asset custody capabilities, connecting them with Obita’s existing payment collection, currency conversion, and account management services. The collaboration strengthens the unified payment and treasury services Obita Mesh provides to global enterprises, further reducing the complexity of connecting to multiple financial infrastructure providers.

As a licensed virtual asset exchange regulated by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (SFC), HashKey Exchange adopts a segregated hot-and-cold wallet architecture and asset insurance mechanisms. In line with regulatory requirements, at least 98% of users’ virtual assets are stored in cold wallets, with insurance coverage in place for assets held in both hot and cold wallets. Through this collaboration, HashKey Exchange’s institutional custody capabilities are connected to Obita’s global enterprise payment scenarios, providing a more reliable security foundation and operational support for businesses managing funds involving digital assets.

Haiyang Ru, CEO of HashKey Exchange BG, stated: "This cooperation combines HashKey Exchange's licensed custody capabilities with Obita's corporate payment scenarios, representing a pragmatic practice of integrating digital asset infrastructure with real commercial payments. Amidst the trend of traditional payment institutions accelerating the adoption of blockchain technology, HashKey Exchange will continue to expand its institutional-grade comprehensive services and practically promote the implementation of Asia's interconnection strategy."

Dayong Zhang, Co-founder and CEO of Obita, said: “Fund security and compliant custody are foundational requirements for enterprises adopting digital assets in global operations. Supported by HashKey Exchange's mature compliance infrastructure, Obita will provide more secure and unified payment and treasury services, jointly consolidating Hong Kong's position as a global offshore settlement center for enterprises going global.”

HashKey Capital previously participated in Obita’s eight-figure USD angel round completed in 2025. This business collaboration with HashKey Exchange further extends Obita’s connection with the HashKey Group ecosystem from the capital level into practical financial infrastructure and enterprise payment scenarios.
